Publicación Acceso abierto Gestión administrativa y desempeño laboral en enfermeras de las unidades médico-quirúrgicas de una institución de salud en Miraflores, 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2025-06-25) Piscoya Inostroza, Aracely Rosa; Millones Gomez, Segundo GermanThe present study aimed to determine the relationship between administrative management and job performance among nurses in medical-surgical hospitalization services. This is a quantitative research study that employed the hypothetical-deductive method, with a non-experimental, cross sectional, and correlational design. The sample was a census sample, consisting of 80 nurses, representing the entire nursing staff of these services; therefore, sampling was not necessary. Data collection was carried out through a survey, using a questionnaire validated by expert judgment and subjected to a reliability test, yielding a Cronbach’s alpha of 0.855 and 0.798. It was observed that the prevalence of administrative management was rated as good in 41.20% of cases, regular in 56.30%, and poor in 2.50%, reflecting both strengths and areas for improvement. Regarding job performance, 70% of nurses were rated at a good level, 28.75% at a regular level, and 1.25% at a poor level, highlighting a generally good performance with room for improvement. The results support the general hypothesis, concluding that the correlation between administrative management and job performance was significant (Sig. = 0.001; Rho = 0.773), indicating a linear, positive, and moderate relationship.
