(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-06-26) Blanco Fitzcarrald, Dilcia Ruth; Pretell Aguilar, Rosa Maria
Its purpose is to determine how administrative management is associated with the quality of the service at the research site, using a quantitative method with an observational design in addition to having the contribution of information from a sample of 104 users, this through the application of a questionnaire and a checklist called Servqual, these instruments presented high reliability with 0.908 and 0.924 reliability through a Cronbach's Alpha. On the other hand, the data collection will take place in approximately two months, which will be processed by programs such as Excel and Word, and will also be statistically analyzed by the Spss 25.0 program. Likewise, the statistical procedure is divided into two phases: the descriptive phase. and the inferential, the first being presented in bar graphs and contingency tables and in the inferential case it is developed using the Spearman test to verify the hypotheses.

A summary table was prepared with the main data from each selected article. Results: 100% of the evidence indicates that the use of trisodium citrate is more effective for anticoagulation of the extracorporeal circuit in adult patients with renal failure undergoing renal replacement therapy, in terms of filter lifespan, lower bleeding risk, and less circuit loss. Conclusions: The use of citrate is more effective compared to heparin in adult patients undergoing renal replacement therapy for anticoagulation of the extracorporeal circuit.

Effective interventions to improve voice quality in teachers.
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-01-27) Ramirez Yalán, Rosario Isabel; Pretell Aguilar, Rosa Maria
Objective: To analyze and systematize the available evidence on effective interventions to improve voice quality in teachers. Materials and Methods: The study type is qualitative, and the design used was a systematic review, which aims to answer specific questions through the search for articles. The search was conducted in Pubmed, Medline, ElServier, Scielo, Portal Regional BVS, Trip, Cochrane Plus, Lilacs, EBSCO, Epistemonikos, SCOPUS. The quality of the articles was analyzed using the GRADE system, a method for evaluating the quality of evidence and the strength of recommendations. Results: The sample consisted of 14 articles, with 29% from Brazil, 22% from Germany, 14% each from Italy and Belgium, and 7% from Spain, Iran, and Finland. The study designs were 36% quasi-experimental and case-control each, 14% clinical trial, and 7% controlled randomized study and cross-sectional study. Conclusions: It is concluded that 93% of the studies show that effective interventions improve the quality of teachers' voices because of easier phonation, better vocal well-being, positive impact on vocal capacity, increased subjective vocal tension, better perceptual voice quality, perceived frequency and intensity of voice, and vocal performance. The remaining 7% found that the intervention was ineffective and emphasized the need for deeper studies with a larger sample size.

Effective interventions to prevent corrosion of surgical instruments
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2018-11-04) Cabello Huerta, Erica Yovana; Pacheco Delgado, Carmen Reyna; Pretell Aguilar, Rosa Maria
Objective: Systematize the evidence on effective interventions to prevent corrosion of surgical instruments. Materials and Method: Systematic reviews are an observational and retrospective research design that synthesizes the results of multiple primary studies. Results: Of the total 10 systematically reviewed articles, 100% (10/10) demonstrate that effective interventions in care prevent the corrosion of surgical instruments; 50% (5/10) is mainly due to the care of the instruments in cleaning and disinfection procedures. Likewise, the other 50% (5/10) of the reviewed articles consider that the most corrosion-resistant stainless steels are martensitic stainless steel with mono and multilayer coating and austenitic steel. Conclusions: Of the 10 reviewed articles, 5 show that performing effective interventions in cleaning and disinfection procedures of surgical instruments prevents corrosion; likewise, 5 out of 10 articles refer that austenitic and martensitic steel used in the manufacturing of surgical instruments are resistant to corrosion.

Effective oral hygiene for the prevention of pneumonia in patients with mechanical ventilation
(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2017-12-03) Carbajal Quispe, Johana Mercedes; Rubio Aguilar, Vianey; Pretell Aguilar, Rosa Maria
Objective: To analyze and systematize evidence on the effectiveness of oral care in preventing pneumonia in patients receiving mechanical ventilation. Materials and Methods: This is a systematic review of evidence on the effectiveness of oral care in preventing pneumonia in patients with mechanical ventilation. Among all the articles found, the most significant ones were included based on their level and quality of evidence, while less relevant ones were excluded. The databases used for the review were Scielo, Medplus, PubMed, and BVS. Results: A total of 10 articles were selected from different countries, with 50% (5) being systematic reviews, 20% (2) cohort studies, 20% (2) randomized controlled trials, and 10% (1) a meta-analysis. Of the articles analyzed, 70% (n=7/10) confirm that oral care using only oral solutions or mouthwashes, specifically chlorhexidine, is effective in preventing pneumonia in patients receiving mechanical ventilation. The remaining 30% (n=3/10) suggest that oral care is effective not only with chlorhexidine mouthwashes but also by adding other strategies and solutions to prevent pneumonia caused by mechanical ventilation. Conclusion: The reviewed studies are conclusive in stating that oral care for ICU patients on mechanical ventilation is effective in preventing pneumonia, particularly when using oral antiseptics such as 2% chlorhexidine. These measures should be included as part of the overall care for mechanically ventilated patients upon admission to prevent bacterial colonization that can lead to pneumonia.
