    Stroke patients have reduced functional capacity in the neuromuscular, cardiac, and respiratory systems, experiencing problems with static and dynamic balance, which results in decreased postural stability during both static and dynamic bipedal support. Falls commonly occur during transfers from sitting to standing or during walking. This movement is particularly notable due to the falls that occur from the muscle weakness present in post-stroke patients, affecting postural control during vertical acceleration. The ability to transition from a seated position to standing is crucial for postural control and the psychosocial components of patients with hemiplegic sequelae.
