Ítem Acceso abierto Nursing knowledge and practices in the care of patients with preeclampsia at the Arzobispo Loayza Hospital, Lima 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-06-25) Quichca Quispe, Iris; Hermoza Moquillaza, Rocío VictoriaThe current research has as objective “To determine the relation between knowledge and nursing practices on the caring of patients with preeclampsia in the Arzobispo Loayza Hospital, Lima, 2024”. Correlation study, with transversal time and non-experimental. It has analyzed the variable knowledge and nursing practices about preeclampsia on 80 nurses who work in ICU and gynecological-obstetric. It utilized nursing knowledge tools about preeclampsia that consisted of 25 questions and a checking formulary of the clinic record of 16 items. The results demonstrated that 42.50%(34) of nursing professionals showed regular knowledge about preeclampsia, followed by 40%(32) who have a good understanding level, and 17.50%(14) revealed a bad understanding in the field, about the practices it was observed that 82.50%(64) of the professionals analyzed showed a suitable performance and 17.50%(14) did their practices unapprovingly. Concluding that exists a significant and positive association between knowledge and nursing practices in caring for preeclampsia patients. Furthermore, the connection between the analyzed factors is considerable for having obtained a coefficient of correlation (Rho=0,712).
