Ítem Acceso abierto Labor factors associated with the quality of nursing care in the ICU of a national hospital of Lima(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-02-26) Quinte Diego, Berta; Fernández Rengifo, Werther FernandoIntroduction: there are work factors such as stress, fatigue or physical and emotional exhaustion, workload and work environment, human relations among others, which coexist in the field of professional nursing practice, associated, can affect the performance, productivity and development of professional competencies of nursing staff work, being critical in specialized units such as ICUs where a high preparation in the scientific - clinical dimension is required. Objective: to determine how work factors are associated with the scientific-clinical competence of nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit of a national hospital in Lima, 2022. Methodology: quantitative, non-experimental, correlational and cross-sectional study in a population and census sample of 82 nursing professionals working in the ICU of a national hospital in Lima, Peru; where two validated and reliable questionnaires will be applied, the assessment scale of work factors adapted by Fornés-Vives in 2006 and modified by Sánchez in 2016 for ICU and the questionnaire of scientific - clinical competence of nursing care in ICU developed by Henao-Castaño et al. in Colombia in 2021. The data collected will be analyzed using the Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient statistical test.
