    The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the use of information and communication technologies and their relationship with the use of language in grade students 5° of the Educational Institution Ana de Castrillón, headquarters Divino Salvador, Medellín - Colombia, 2017. The method used was with a quantitative approach, through a correlated study, and a non-experimental design, cross-sectional transection. Data collection was done through a survey using the Likert-type questionnaire, which relates the characteristics of the study variables, the population of this research was 433 students from 9 to 11 years old and the sample consisted of 53 students as well: 27 students of grade 5.1 and 26 students of 5.2 ° with ages ranging from 09 to 11 years, are of low stratum. In order to analyze the reliability of the results of the answers of the students of the survey the Cronbach coefficient is calculated with 7.63 through the statistical software SPSS version 23. Agnd confirmed the general hypothesis that exists direct relationship between information and communication technologies (ICT) with the area of language. Likewise, specific hypotheses were confirmed, where there is a direct relationship between information and communication technologies (ICT) and the pragmatic, semantic, and grammatical dimension.
