Ítem Acceso abierto Coping and self-esteem strategy for women victims of violence who attend the specialized violence service of a mother-child center. Lima 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-01-14) Quispe Baldeon, Emperatriz Aurora; Morillo Acasio, Berlina del RosarioThe main objective of this study is determining how the coping strategy affects the self-esteem of women victims of violence who attend the specialized violence service of a Maternal and Child Center in Comas 2023. Material and Methods: The research is applied, with observational design, correlational and cross-sectional. Population: There will be 80 female victims of violence referred by the prosecutor's office for psychotherapeutic treatment who are treated in the specialized violence service of the Laura Rodríguez Maternal and Child Center. Surveys and two questionnaires will be used as reliable instruments and validated by two works carried out in Peru. The research of Mejía (2018), where the reliability of the Coping Strategies Inventory (CSI), had an internal consistency of Cronbach's Alpha = 0.886. In addition, Aguirre (2020) shows the validity results of the self-esteem scale with acceptable values with Cronbach's alpha = 0.728. The data obtained will be organized and scored with Microsoft Excel 2019, coding and treatment will be carried out with the SPSS 25.0 statistical software. Based on that information, relevant frequency tables and bar graphs will be created. The statistical analysis will be divided into two stages: the descriptive one, where the results will be shown according to the levels; and the inferential one, which will be carried out using Spearman's Rho test to establish the relationship between the variables studied and confirm the proposed hypothesis.
