    Evaluación de exposición por hipoclorito de sodio utilizados en desinfección de ambientes laborales 2021: revisión sistemática

    The objective was to evaluate exposure to sodium hypochlorite used in the disinfection of work environments in 2021. Method: This was a descriptive, analytical, synthetic, and non-experimental study. The population consisted of scientific articles, scientific journals, books, and theses published and indexed in scientific databases, and published in Spanish, English, or other languages. Results: Of 10,194 people, 9.9% had exposure to sodium hypochlorite, and 90.1% did not. Of the 1,205 people who had exposure, 89.2% did not have asthma, while 10.8% did. Of 200 people who had exposure, 89.0% did not have bronchitis, and 11.0% did. Conclusion: Of the total number of people working in the disinfection of work environments, there is a high percentage of people who did not have exposure to sodium hypochlorite. There is a high percentage of people who did not have asthma upon exposure, and similar percentages of people who did and did not have bronchitis upon exposure.
