Ítem Acceso abierto Relationship between motivation and work performance in professionals who work in a health center, Lima 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-11-04) Quispe Huaman, Sandra Geovanna; Cárdenas de Fernández, María HildaObjective: The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between motivation and work performance in health professionals who work in a health center, Lima 2022. This research had a quantitative, relational approach, where 80 individuals who worked were chosen. in said hospital center located in the district of Comas, city of Lima. Previously validated questionnaires were used to measure the variables. It was found that 12.5% (10) of health professionals obtained a low level of motivation, while 63.7% (51) presented a medium level and 23.8% (19) a high level. of motivation. 10% (8) of the professionals obtained a low job performance, while 62.5% (50) presented an average job performance and 27.5% had a high job performance. It is evident that there is a positive correlation between intrinsic motivation and job performance (Rho = 0.556). Likewise, a positive correlation between extrinsic motivation and job performance (Rho = 0.506). Furthermore, a positive correlation between transcendental motivation and job performance (Rho = 0.623). It was concluded that there is a significant relationship between motivation and job performance.
