Workload and humanized care of the nursing professional of the intensive care unit in a private clinic in Lima, 2021

The care provided in ICU services is currently considered a fundamental link within the health system, since this is a place where the patient's life depends on the quality of the procedures where nurses have the mission of providing health care to patients because they have the right to receive humanized care, but when the workload is high, professionals can suffer wear and tear, which can harm the quality of their service as well as its humanized aspect; The study aims to analyze the relationship that exists between workload and humanized care of nursing professionals in the intensive care unit in a private clinic in Lima, 2021. Material and method: it is a research with a quantitative approach, with a descriptive correlational level, cross-sectional, also the sample is 35 nursing professionals; The nursing activity score questionnaire will be used to measure workload and a checklist by the authors Huamán M, et al. to evaluate humanized care. In the case of the first workload instrument, Nursing Activity Score (NAS), it was validated by Rodriguez C., who proceeded with the validation of three experts from the Cesar Vallejo University; in the case of humanized care, the authors Huamán M, et al., proceeded with the validation of three experts from the Peruvian Cayetano Heredia University; likewise, in the present research, a descriptive and inferential statistical analysis will be applied to the data collected for the presentation of results.
