Many preterm babies survive thanks to the cutting-edge technology available in developed countries. However, many of these preterm babies will experience motor development alterations throughout their lives, which can hinder their development in their environment. Motor development refers to the evolution of movement from small to large movements, beginning in the early stages of life. From infancy, babies explore their environment and acquire skills continuously, reflecting the gradual maturation of their brains.
