Ítem Acceso abierto Implication between the Hematological Profile and the Prognosis of Hospitalized Patients in the HASA-ESsalud Pisco January-July 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-06-04) Quispe Rodriguez, Rodobel Pascual; Astete Medrano, Delia JessicaThe first studies on the relationship between certain hematological parameters and the disease were conducted in China (Ning Tang et al., 2020), where the role of D-dimer and PDFs in disease severity was established. (Clin Chim et.al 2020) conducted a study on whether platelet count could differentiate between severe and non-severe patients who contracted the disease. The goal of this work is to gather information that helps clinicians relate hematological parameters to disease severity, thus preventing patients from reaching critical stages that could endanger their lives. The hematological parameters to be evaluated include: D-dimer, fibrinogen level, platelet ratio, INL, and absolute lymphocyte count. This research will analyze data from the health management system (ESSalud databases) and laboratory databases. The hypothetical-inductive method with a quantitative and applied approach will be used.
