Objective: To determine whether there is a relationship between risk factors in Diabetes Mellitus and erectile dysfunction in diabetic men attending a pharmacy in Pueblo Libre – 2021. Method: The deductive method was used, with a quantitative approach, basic type of study, non-experimental design, descriptive, correlational, prospective, and cross-sectional. A non-probabilistic quota sampling was applied. The technique used was the survey, and the instrument was a questionnaire. Results: Out of 132 diabetic men, the identified risk factors were: age between 51 and 60 years with 88.6%; education level, technical studies 55.3% and university studies 38.6%; marital status, married 34.1% and widowed 30.3%. Regarding psychosocial factors, 59.8% reported being easily stressed, 54.5% experienced depression, and 74.2% reported anxiety or distress. With respect to harmful habits, 79.5% smoked daily, 59.8% consumed alcohol weekly, and 80.3% led a sedentary lifestyle. As for clinical manifestations, 54.5% had difficulty achieving an erection, 50.8% had difficulty maintaining an erection, and 59.8% reported a decreased sexual desire. Regarding erection rigidity, 74.2% stated that their penis increased in size but was not firm enough for intercourse, 70.5% reported that it was firm but insufficient for penetration, and 75.0% reported not having the penis both firm and rigid at the same time. Concerning sexual desire, 59.8% reported almost never having sexual fantasies.
