    Metacognición y aprendizaje autorregulado en discentes de posgrado en una universidad de Lima – 2022

    The present investigation established as its main objective to establish the relationship between metacognition and self-regulated learning in postgraduate students of a university in Lima in the year 2022. The applied study methodology was hypothetical with a deductive, quantitative orientation, with a descriptive correlational level and benefited by a cross section. It was carried out in a sample of 80 graduate students from a university in Lima, to whom the instruments were applied: O'neil and Abedi Metacognitive Strategies Inventory and the Self-regulation Questionnaire in academic learning at the University, to measure the variable Metacognition and Self-regulated Learning respectively. The research showed a very high significant relationship between both variables, as well as positive relationships between metacognition and the dimensions of self-regulated learning, being active metacognitive awareness, control and verification, and daily effort in performing tasks, the dimensions with the highest level of significance. It was concluded that metacognitive students who have knowledge management skills monitor and self-regulate their way of learning and thus meet their academic goals.
