    OBJETIVO: SISTEMATIZAR LA EVIDENCIA SOBRE BENEFICIOS CLÍNICOS DE LA VACUNA INFLUENZA ESTACIONAL EN LAS GESTANTES MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS: LA REVISIÓN SISTEMÁTICA DE LOS 10 ARTÍCULOS CIENTÍFICOS ENCONTRADOS BENEFICIOS CLÍNICOS DE LA VACUNA INFLUENZA ESTACIONAL EN LAS GESTANTES, FUERON HALLADOS EN LA SIGUIENTE BASES DE DATOS COCHRANE, LILACS, SCIELO, MEDLINE PUBMED, TODOS ELLOS FUERON ANALIZADOS SEGÚN LA ESCALA GRADE PARA DETERMINAR SU FUERZA Y CALIDAD DE EVIDENCIA; DONDE SE ENCONTRÓ QUE EL 50% (5) CORRESPONDEN A ESTADOS UNIDOS Y UN 10% CORRESPONDE A (01) MÉXICO, (01) TAIWÁN, (01) ATLANTA, (1) BANGLADESH POR ÚLTIMO (01) TAILANDIA RESPECTIVAMENTE. RESULTADOS DEL TOTAL DE ARTÍCULOS ANALIZADOS EL 100% DEMUESTRA QUE LA VACUNA INFLUENZA ESTACIONAL BRINDA BENEFICIOS CLÍNICOS A LAS GESTANTES CONCLUSIONES: 10 DE LOS ARTÍCULOS EVIDENCIAN LOS BENEFICIOS CLÍNICOS DE LA VACUNA INFLUENZA ESTACIONAL EN LAS GESTANTES; YA QUE BRINDA ANTICUERPOS CONTRA LA GRIPE DURANTE EL EMBARAZO, MEDIANTE LA REDUCCIÓN DE LAS RESPUESTAS DE INHIBICIÓN DE HEMAGLUTINACIÓN SÉRICA OBTENIDAS POR INMUNIZACIÓN, ASIMISMO PARA LOS BEBES BRINDA BENEFICIOS FETALES Y NEONATALES SIGNIFICATIVOS COMO AUMENTO DEL PESO AL NACER Y REDUCCIÓN DEL BAJO PESO, PARTO PRETÉRMINO, PREVENCIÓN DE MUERTE FETAL Y REDUCCIÓN DE ENFERMEDADES RESPIRATORIAS

    Clinical benefits of the seasonal influenza vaccine in pregnant women

    Objective: To systematize the evidence on the clinical benefits of the seasonal influenza vaccine in pregnant women. Materials and Methods: A systematic review of 10 scientific articles found on the clinical benefits of the seasonal influenza vaccine in pregnant women was conducted using the following databases: Cochrane, LILACS, Scielo, Medline, and PubMed. All articles were analyzed according to the GRADE scale to determine their strength and quality of evidence. It was found that 50% (5) were from the United States, and 10% (1) each were from Mexico, Taiwan, Atlanta, Bangladesh, and Thailand, respectively. Results: Of the total articles analyzed, 100% demonstrate that the seasonal influenza vaccine provides clinical benefits to pregnant women. Conclusions: All 10 articles provide evidence of the clinical benefits of the seasonal influenza vaccine in pregnant women, as it provides antibodies against the flu during pregnancy by reducing serum hemagglutination inhibition responses obtained through immunization. Additionally, for babies, the vaccine offers significant fetal and neonatal benefits, such as increased birth weight, reduction in low birth weight, preterm birth, prevention of fetal death, and reduction in respiratory illnesses.
