In Peru, anemia due to iron deficiency in children aged 6 to 36 months has become a significant public health problem. In 2018, a 43.6% prevalence was recorded, with the highest rates in the 6-18 month range. Objective: To determine the total family risk in families with children under 36 months with iron-deficiency anemia at the Ermitaño Bajo Health Center, Independencia, Lima, 2020. Material and method: The study will be quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental, and cross-sectional. The study population will consist of 200 families with children under 36 months diagnosed with iron-deficiency anemia at the Ermitaño Bajo Health Center in 2020, meeting inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection will be done through surveys, using the Family Risk Questionnaire (RFT5:33) by Pilar Amaya, consisting of 33 items grouped into 5 dimensions: psychoaffective conditions, health services and practices, housing and neighborhood conditions, socio-economic status, and child care. Statistical analysis will be done using SPSS software, presenting absolute and relative frequencies and central tendency measures.
