Ítem Acceso abierto Work stress and quality of nursing care in the intensive care unit of a level IV hospital, during the Covid 19 pandemic in Lima, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2021-12-05) Rabanal Carrasco, Nataly Karen; Pretell Aguliar, Rosa MaríaObjective: To determine the relationship between work stress and quality of nursing care in the intensive care unit of a level IV hospital, during the COVID 19 pandemic in Lima, 2021. Methodology: The study will have a quantitative approach, of an applied type, and a non-experimental, descriptive, and correlational design. The representative sample of the study will be made up of 113 nursing professionals who provide services in the intensive care unit of a level IV hospital. Obtained according to the application of the probabilistic sample formula. Data Collection Techniques and Instruments: In the data collection technique, the survey will be applied, executed at a single time, using the instruments called Nursing Stress Scale (NSS) and Perception of the Quality of Nursing Care Provided (PCCEO), which present a Cronbach's Alpha equivalent to 0.948, and 0.901 respectively. Procedures: The data collection will be carried out for a period of 02 months. Once the data is collected, it will be organized in the Excel program for quality control and corresponding organization; later it will be exported to the SPSS software version 25.0. Statistical Analysis: For the descriptive evaluation, frequency tables, measures of central tendency, and dispersion, and graphic representations will be developed.
