Ítem Acceso abierto Level of resilience and risk of alcohol consumption among adolescents at the Centro Materno Infantil Tahuantinsuyo Bajo, Independencia, Lima – 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-04-17) Sernaque Morales, Myalu Deysi; Ramírez Chacaliaza, Lizbeth Johana; Matos Valverde, Carmen VictoriaObjective: Determine the relationship that exists between the level of resilience and the risk of adolescent alcohol consumption at the Tahuantinsuyo Bajo Maternal and Child Center, Independencia, Lima - 2018. Methodology: Study with a quantitative descriptive approach, cross-sectional correlational, population It was made up of 380 adolescents who attend the SADA program (Different Care Service for Adolescents), a sample of 121 adolescents was taken, by non-probabilistic sampling by convenience. The Wagnild and Young questionnaire was used and for Alcohol Risk AUDIT, these instruments are validated. Results: Regarding the resilience variable, 76% presented a high level, 24% a medium level and 0% a low level; Regarding their self-confidence dimension, 73% presented a high level of resilience, 26% a medium level. Regarding the alcohol consumption variable, 40% (48) of adolescents surveyed presented medium risk, followed by 57% (69) who presented low risk. Regarding the dimensions, the highest score was harmful alcohol consumption and the lowest score was alcohol risk. The correlational statistical test was Chi square 13.509, df 3, P value 0.004, indicating an inversely proportional, statistically significant relationship between both variables. Conclusion: There is an inverse relationship between the level of resilience and the risk of alcohol consumption.
