    Satisfaction and quality of nursing care perceived by patients in the post-Anesthetic recovery unit of Hospital II Vitarte - Essalud - Lima 2021

    Patients admitted to the Post-Anesthesia Recovery Unit (PARU) suffer from pain due to undergoing low or high complexity surgical procedures with general, regional or local anesthesia. In this sense, recovery is critical because during this stage, complications can affect the prognosis of the result. Therefore, the stabilization of immediate postoperative patients is essential. Objective: To determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and the satisfaction perceived by patients in the post-anesthesia recovery unit of Hospital II Vitarte-ESSALUD, Lima 2021 Methods: The study will be observational, descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional. The population and probabilistic sample by clusters will be made up of 75 immediate postoperative patients from the Post-Anesthesia Recovery Unit (PARU) of Hospital II Vitarte-Essalud. The sample will be taken between October and November 2021 using a modification of the patient satisfaction questionnaire that was validated in Venezuela in 2007 by Felman and in Peru in 2016 by Palomino et al. As well as the nursing care quality questionnaire validated in Peru in 2018 by Chuquihuaccha et al. who will collect data to be processed through non-parametric tests to identify the relationship between both variables in order to prove that immediate postoperative patient satisfaction is related to the quality of nursing care.
