El desempeño docente y el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes del curso de rehabilitación del habla en niños de una Universidad Privada de Lima – 2019

The main objective of this research was to determine the relationship between teaching performance and academic performance of students who took the course of speech Rehabilitation in children from a private university in Lima - 2019. The preset corresponds to an investigation with a quantitative approach, of the descriptive correlational type, of a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The sample was made up of the students from the Speech rehabilitation course in Children, to whom two questionnaires were applied that measured teacher performance and academic performance. The statistical analysis of each variable was performed using the Spearman Rho coefficient was used, with which a high positive correspondence between variables teacher performance and academic performance was evidenced. It also revealed a significant relationship between each of its dimensions. As a result of this research, it was concluded that the greater the pedagogical competences, professional responsibility and interpersonal relationships, the higher the academic achievement in the speech rehabilitation course in children.
