    Job satisfaction of nurses is a multidimensional phenomenon influenced by many variables. Job dissatisfaction has been frequently cited as the main reason for a high rate of absenteeism and turnover of nurses, which represents a threat to the ability of the health system to provide quality care by impeding its efficiency and effectiveness. (9) One of the most widely used questionnaires to assess job satisfaction is the Font Roja, developed at the University of Alicante – Spain.
