Material and Methods: The quantitative retrospective systematic review was prepared using the Grade evaluation system, which were found in the following databases: Pubmed, Redalyc, Cochrane, Scielo, Google Academic and Lilacs, all of them correspond to the quantitative type. and study design systematic review - meta-analysis and cohort; Of the 10 articles systematically reviewed, 60% (n= 6/10) are systematic reviews, 20% (n= 2/10) are case controls, 10% (n= 1/10) are descriptive, 10% are cohort studies. (n=1/10), the systematic reviews come from the countries: Mexico (30%), followed by India (30%), Colombia (20%), South Africa (10%), and Canada (10%). Results: 100% (n=10/10) the more effective treatment adherence, the better the quality of life of the patient with tuberculosis. Conclusion: it is shown that there is an effectiveness of adherence to treatment in the patient at the beginning, during and end of the disease process, improving their quality of life thanks to the intervention of family support, together with the work of the entire health team. that seeks the patient's recovery by achieving the objectives.
