Ítem Acceso abierto Level of knowledge and practices of self-care of vascular access in patients with hemodialysis in a private dialysis center, Lima 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-04-02) Rangel Delgado, Fernando Luis; Molina Torres, Jose GregorioThe objective of this research is to determine the level of knowledge and practice of self-care of vascular access in patients receiving hemodialysis at the San Luis dialysis center. The Methodology: quantitative, hypothetical-deductive method, non-experimental, approach, applied type, correlational, cross-sectional, the population 80 patients, the sample 80. To measure the two variables, two instruments will be used, a questionnaire of knowledge of vascular access (2018) validated by 5 experts, validity of the Aiken coefficient of 0.80 Cronbach's alpha reliability of 0.77 The second practice questionnaire on self-care of vascular access in hemodialysis patients (2018) structured in two parts, one aimed at patients with arteriovenous fistula and the other with central venous catheter, validated by experts, the reliability of the instrument in the pilot test at 6 patients where applying the Kuder-Richardson Formula 20 statistic, a value for KR20 =0.77 However, the level of knowledge and practice of self-care of vascular access in patients receiving hemodialysis is determined, compliance with the ethical standards of the professional is obtained, both variables will be measured by inferential statistics, concluded with the collection of data, the information it will be processed in a coding and counting matrix for the use of the SPSS 26 software, the tables of frequencies and percentages will be obtained; As a second part of the data processing, the inferential calculations will be carried out to contrast the research hypotheses and it is necessary to carry out the normality test and find the correlation with the Spearman's Rho statistician.
