Publicación Acceso abierto Reacciones adversas a los fármacos antituberculosos en pacientes con tuberculosis pulmonar en el Hospital Alberto Sabogal Sologuren enero–mayo. Callao 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-09-23) Rapray Asencios, Maria Cristina; Caldas Herrera, EmmaObjective: To analyze the factors associated with adherence to anti-asthmatic treatment in adult patients. Method: Deductive, with a quantitative approach and a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The study was applied to a sample of 85 medical records of patients diagnosed with pulmonary tuberculosis. The instrument used was a registration sheet, considering descriptive statistics in the SPSS v.26 program. The results were consistent with the proposed objectives. Results: Among the 85 patients in the sample (medical records), those with the highest incidence of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) (81.2%) were aged 19-39 years (48.2%), with 58.8% being male. Depressive anxiety was the most frequent comorbidity (35.3%). The most commonly used anti-tuberculosis drug was isoniazid (44.7%), while pyrazinamide was the least used (3.5%). Additionally, 80% of respondents indicated they had not received any medication other than what was prescribed. The most frequent ADR was a nervous system disorder (37.6%), and in terms of severity, mild reactions were the most common (72.9%), with 60% being of defined cause and 40% of probable cause. Conclusion: The evaluation of adverse drug reactions to anti-tuberculosis medications in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis at Alberto Sabogal Sologuren Hospital, Callao, from January to May 2022, demonstrated a high incidence in the male population, with mild severity due to the predominant prescription of isoniazid.
