Lima, 2018(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-03-14) Reyes Arquiñego, Melisa; Candela Ayllón, Victor EduardoThe research aimed to determine the relationship between emotional dependence and positive mental health in women attending the Forensic Psychology Division of a state institution in Lima, in 2018. The study used a quantitative, descriptive correlational approach with a non-experimental cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 269 women who had been victims of violence by their partners, and who were evaluated using the Emotional Dependence Scale (ACCA) and the Positive Mental Health Scale by Lluch. The main finding was that emotional dependence is significantly related to positive mental health (p ≤ 0.05). The results showed that women with high emotional dependence tend to have lower levels of positive mental health.
