    Depression and quality of life of the elderly in the geriatric unit of a public hospital, Lima 2022

    Objective: To establish the relationship depression and between quality of life in the elderly in the geriatric care unit of a Public Hospital, Lima 2022. Methodology: The study will be based on a quantitative approach, with a type of applied research, with a correlational level, which will be cross-sectional, it will also be a non-experimental study. A sample of 90 older adults was considered, where two instruments will be applied, the first will be the quality-of-life questionnaire prepared by WHOQOL-BREF and the second is the depression questionnaire for older adults, prepared by Brink et al. Then, the descriptive analysis will be carried out using tables and graphs, as well as the inferential analysis, which will show the degree of relationship between the variables studied.
