    Emotional intelligence and its relationship with work stress in nursing professionals from a private clinic in the city of Lima 2023

    Objective: To analyze the relationship of emotional intelligence with work stress in nursing professionals from a Private Clinic in the City of Lima 2023. Methodology: A quantitative, applied, non-experimental, correlational, cross-sectional study approach was developed; The population was constituted by 77 nursing professionals from a Private Clinic in the City of Lima 2023 Results. In sociodemographic characteristics, there is age from 20 to 25 in 52%, from 26 to 35 in 39%, from 36 to more in 9%; for Sex they were Female in 87% and Male in 13%; Marital Status Married in 9%, Cohabiting 52% and Single in 39%. In the emotional perception dimension of emotional intelligence with work stress, finding that there is moderate work stress with adequate emotional intelligence in 31.2%. In the emotional clarity dimension of emotional intelligence with work stress, there is moderate work stress with adequate emotional intelligence 35.1%. In the emotional repair dimension of emotional intelligence with work stress, finding that there is moderate work stress with adequate emotional intelligence in 37.7%. In emotional intelligence with work stress, finding that there is moderate work stress with adequate emotional intelligence 36.4%.
