Ítem Acceso abierto Level of knowledge and its relationship with the acceptance of the COVID 19 vaccine in parents who have children aged 3 to 5 studying in a state initial educational institution in Lima 2023(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-12-21) Ricaldi Huamalí, Katty; Mori Castro, Jaime AlbertoObjective: Analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge and the acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccines in parents who have children aged 3 to 5 year studying at a State Initial Educational Institution of Lima 2023. Methodology: A type of applied research was developed, quantitative study approach, descriptive, non-experimental, correlational, crosssectional design. Census sampling: It is made up of 133 parents who agreed to participate in the application of the instrument. The instruments used is a questionnaire on the level of knowledge and acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine prepared by Jesús Damian Acosta. The instrument allowed us to measure the level of knowledge and acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine resulting in: In the epidemiological context dimension of the level of knowledge with the acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine, it was found that there is a medium knowledge with a rejection of the vaccine in 25.7%. It is significantly related to the acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine, demonstrating that P value is 0.74, which indicates that there is a high correlation, where the level of significance is 0.038 < 0.005. In the preventive clinical dimension approach of that level of knowledge with a rejection of the vaccine in 23.9%. It is significantly related to the acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine, demonstrating that P value is 0.92, which indicates that there is a very high correlation, where the level of significance is 0.0331 < 0.005. In the immunization dimension of the level of the level of knowledge with the acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine, it was found that there is low knowledge with a rejection of the vaccine in 27.4%, It is significantly related to the acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine, demonstrating that P value is 0.60, which indicates that there is a high correlation, where the level of significance is 0.0529 < 0.005. At the level of knowledge with the acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine, it was found that there is low knowledge with rejection of the vaccine in 29.2%, It was found that there is a statistically significant relationship between the level of knowledge and the acceptance of the COVID19 vaccine in parents where p value is 0.92, which indicates the existence of a very high correlation, with a significance level of 0.031 < 0.005 , giving as a response the acceptance of the hypothesis and general objective raised.
