This will help avoid complications, both local and systemic, which could further worsen the patient's clinical condition. Objective: Therefore, this research will be conducted to establish the relationship between the level of knowledge and the management of peripheral venous catheterization by nursing professionals in the emergency service of a Ministry of Health hospital in 2024. Methodology: The research will be applied, with a quantitative approach, non-experimental design, correlational level, and cross-sectional approach. The population will consist of 70 nurses from the emergency service. The survey technique will be applied, using a questionnaire to measure the first variable, and the observation technique with a checklist to measure the second variable. The data will be processed using the SPSS statistical software and will be presented in tables and figures. Then, Spearman’s Rho correlation coefficient will be applied to measure the relationship between the variables and proceed with hypothesis testing.
