Ítem Acceso abierto Knowledge and care of percutaneous catheters by nursing staff in the neonatal ICU at a Lima hospital, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-06-12) Robles Espinoza, Jessica; Palomino Taquire, RewardsPremature births are becoming more common every day worldwide and the etiology is multiple, among them we have urinary infections that occur in pregnant women, as well as twin pregnancies, prolonged rupture of membranes, hormonal factors such as diabetes, hypertension, hemorrhage decidual, among others; Around 15 million births are premature, becoming a critical public health issue. Likewise, the following objective was set "to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and nursing care regarding percutaneous catheter in the neonatal intensive care service of a public hospital in Lima, 2022." The “hypothetical-deductive” method will be applied, this method will describe the problem from the general level to the particular, in addition, it seeks to verify the hypothesis or otherwise reject it, with a quantitative, applied approach, correlational, transversal and non-experimental design. The population will consist of 80 nurses from the neonatal intensive care service of the Dos de Mayo hospital, the sample will be census since we will work with the entire population. For the analysis and processing of data, a statistical table will be prepared, then the information from the survey will be entered into the statistical program Excel and later SPSS version 26 and Spearman's correlational statistics will be used to contract the hypothesis.
