Ítem Acceso abierto Level of knowledge and attitude in the prevention of cervical cancer in external users of the police medical post of San Bartolo, Lima 2020(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-12-13) Rocha Velasquez, Kelly Caroline; Bonilla Asalde, César AntonioObjective: To determine the level of knowledge and attitude towards the prevention of cervical cancer in external users of the San Bartolo Police Medical Post, 2020. Materials and methods: This research work will be quantitative in approach, application type, descriptive in scope and observational cross-sectional design. The population will be made up of 782 external users of the San Bartolo Police Medical Post. The sample will be chosen using the probabilistic formula of proportions, achieving a sample of 258 participants. The participants will be selected in the study according to the inclusion criteria, which will be all those who voluntarily agree to answer the questionnaire, after signing the informed consent; and as exclusion criteria, they will be those external users who are on leave. The technique that will be used will be the survey and the instrument will consist of two questionnaires that were designed by Valentín Luna Edith. To measure the level of knowledge, there will be 17 questions with multiple choice answers, which will have a score of 0-6 points for a low level of knowledge, 7-13 points will be a medium level of knowledge and 14 to 17 points a high level of knowledge; and for the attitude, there will be 14 questions with a dichotomous answer of yes and no, which will measure an unfavorable attitude of 00-09 points and a favorable attitude of 10 to 14 points.
