Publicación Acceso abierto Frecuencia de consumo con antidepresivos en pacientes de 40 a 60 años en tiempos de COVID-19 en botica Inkafarma Lima Perú – 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-11-25) Rodriguez Ninahuanca, Valeria Estefhany; León Apac, Gabriel EnriqueThe objective of this research is to determine the frequency of antidepressant medication consumption among patients aged 40 to 60 during COVID-19 at Inkafarma pharmacy, Lima, Peru – 2022. Method: This study follows a descriptive, quantitative, cross-sectional, and prospective design. The sample included 278 respondents aged 40 to 60 years. The survey technique was employed, and the instrument used was a questionnaire, working with a 95% confidence level. Results: The male gender accounted for 66.55% (185), while females represented 33.45% (93). The age group with the highest proportion was 46 to 50 years, representing 90.65% (252), whereas the 56 to 60 years age group had the lowest proportion at 0.36% (1). Married individuals were the most surveyed at 78.78% (219), and individuals with a university degree made up the majority of respondents at 57.55% (160). Conclusion: It is concluded that antidepressant consumption, based on gender, age group, marital status, and educational level, was low during COVID-19. Furthermore, no significant relationship was found between the frequency of antidepressant medication consumption and these variables.
