Publicación Acceso abierto Ubicación del pasajero y las características de lesiones por sucesos de tránsito derivados de trimóviles en la localidad del Bajo Piura 2017(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2020-08-25) Rodriguez Velarde, Giancarlo Jesús; Puente Saldaña, Rosa ErnestinaThe objective of this study was to determine the relationship that exists between the passenger's location and the characteristics of injuries caused by traffic events derived from trim cars in the Bajo Piura of January-July del 2017location. The type of research is correlational, and design is not experimental. The population and sample consisted of 63 cases of patient’s victims of traffic accidents derived from traffic events. The technique considered was the documentary observation and as instruments the data sheet. Results The passenger's location is in the central position at 44.4%, the number of injuries is within 1-5 injuries in 58.7%, the type of injury is the abrasions in 39.7%, and location is in the head in 25.4%. The days of legal medical disability are given from 1-7 days in 50.8%, and the facultative attentions are given between 1-5 medical visits in 82.5%. All of them are independent of the passenger's position. The age of the patients a present an average of 24.11 years. The place of collision or crash of the moto taxi was the front at 38.1%, with a speed greater than 61km / h in 44.4%. It was not used as a seat belt in 100% of the cases. There was apprehension of the patient in 61.9%. The situation of drowsiness in patients who suffered transit events occurs in 33.3%. There was presence of alcohol in 33.3%. The mode of the transit event at the level of the town of Bajo Piura was the collision in 77.8%. In conclusion There is not a relationship between the passenger's location and the characteristics of injuries due to traffic events derived from trim cars in the town of Bajo Piura de January- July 2017.
