    Introduction: Today, it is a priority for health institutions to set challenges based on a constant improvement of quality, all with the intention of making the most of care and, therefore, the satisfaction of patients. Objective: To determine the correlation between the quality of Nursing care with patient satisfaction in the Mental Health and Addiction Hospitalization Unit. Hospital La Caleta de Chimbote, 2022. Methods: deductive - potetic, applied, quantitative, correspondence; Two Likert – type instruments adapted by Marcelo and MINSA respectively will be applied to 80 users admitted to the mental health and addictions hospitalization area of Hospital la Caleta, for the target population, they are validated and reliable to measure the variables in question.
