    Nutritional intervention with probiotics in the postoperative state in patients with colorectal cancer

    This research titled as a critical review: nutritional intervention with probiotics in the postoperative state in patients with colorectal cancer aimed to establish the administration of probiotics. The clinical question was: Does nutritional intervention (prevent constipation or diarrhea) for the progress of intestinal flora , have a better standard of living) with probiotics (Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacteria, Saccharomyces boulardii) in adult patients after CRC surgery? The Evidence-Based Nutrition methodology was used, finding 31 articles, 18 being chosen that have been evaluated by the CASPE critical reading instrument, finally choosing the systematic study titled The effects of probiotics on reducing the colorectal cancer surgery complications: A periodic review during 2007–2017, which has a level of evidence AII and a strong Grade of Recommendation, according to the researcher's experience. The critical observation allowed us to conclude that the administration of probiotics in post-operative colorectal cancer patients has great relevance in reducing inflammation.
