knowledge and practice of surgical handwashing of health personnel from a national hospital in Lima, 2023

The objective of this work is to determine the relationship between knowledge and practices of surgical handwashing of health personnel in a national hospital in Lima, 2023. Methodologically, this research will be developed under a quantitative approach, being of an applied type, the design will be non- experimental, correlational level and cross section. The sample will be 64 nurses (as) and 104 surgeons in a national hospital in Lima, using a census sample and using as instruments for the knowledge variable, a questionnaire, and a checklist for the handwashing practices variable. ; each instrument contains 20 items to collect the data obtained from the sample. A Microsoft Excel spreadsheet will be used to store the information and its subsequent statistical examination, using the SPSS version 26.0 software to verify the projected hypotheses, making use of the correlation test according to the normal distribution of the data, thanks to the test Kolmogorov Smirnov normality, which may be the Pearson correlation test or Spearman's Rho, thus achieving the study objectives.

Suicidal risk and its relationship with resilience levels in 4th and 5th-year secondary students at the N° 7079 Ramiro Prialé Prialé Educational Institution, San Juan de Miraflores, Lima – 2018

Objective: Determine the suicidal risk and its relationship with the level of resilience in 4th grade students. and 5th. secondary school of the Educational Institution No. 7079 Ramiro Prialé Prialé, San Juan de Miraflores, Lima - 2018. Method: The research work has a quantitative approach of a descriptive correlational and cross-sectional type. The sample consisted of 216 students. The instruments Suicide Risk Questionnaire, developed by Robert Plutchik, were used for the suicidal risk variable, and the Resilience Scale, designed by Walgnid and Young, for the resilience variable. Results: 62.5% presented a mild suicidal risk overall; for the dimension Previous self-harm attempts, 97.7% presented a slight risk; for Intensity of current ideation, 90.3%, moderate risk; for Feelings of depression and hopelessness, 75.5%, slight risk; finally, for Other aspects related to attempts, 56%, high risk. For Resilience, 61.1% presented a medium-high level overall; For the Self-Confidence dimension, 50.5% presented a medium-high level; for Equanimity, 45.4%, medium-high level; for Perseverance, 55.1%, medium-high level; for Personal Satisfaction, 46.3%, medium-high level; finally, for Feeling good alone, 40.7%, medium-high level. Conclusions: There is a slight inverse proportional relationship with a Spearman correlation (-0.186), that is, the greater resilience, the lower suicidal risk.
