Materials and Methods: The research is a hypothetical deductive method, quantitative approach, applied, non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational. The population will comprise a total of 80 nursing professionals working in the surgical center area of the Good Hope Clinic, LimaPeru. Similarly, the two study variables will be measured using the survey technique and two questionnaires, respectively. To examine the validity of the Burnout syndrome level instrument, 15 nurses will participate in a pilot study with a Crombach's alpha value of 0.865 and for Job Performance, Crombach's alpha of 0.940. Once the data has been collected through the instruments, a database will be created in Microsoft Excel and transmitted to the SPSS statistical program to be able to code the variables. An inferential analysis will be performed, using Pearson's statistical test, which is considered significant when the value is less than or equal to 5% (p0.05), which will be able to determine the association between the variables.
