Ítem Acceso abierto Work stress and work performance in nursing professionals in the emergency service of a public hospital in Cañete, 2024(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2024-04-07) Rojas Salhuana, Tania Elvira; Benavente Sanchez, Yennys KatiuscaThe objective is: "To determine how work stress is related to the work performance of emergency service nursing professionals". In the case of the methodology, the applied type study will work with the hypothetical deductive method, quantitative paradigm, correlational scope, non-experimental design, cross-sectional, with 80 nursing professionals as a sample, the instruments will be two questionnaires, to measure work stress, The Nursing Stress Scale of Gray and James will be used, Composed of 34 questions that cover 3 questions for the physical aspect, 20 for the psychological and 11 for the social, validated by the national author Huamani in 2021, to measure work performance, a national Rojas questionnaire of 2019 will be used, which consists of 31 questions distributed in the dimensions quality of work with 11 questions, responsibility with 6, teamwork with 9 and commitment institution with 5 questions, both instruments validated by experts and with a high reliability of 0.960 and 0.868 respectively, with which the information will be collected in an average time of 30 minutes per person, with which a database prepared in the Excel program will be obtained. which will be statistically analyzed in the Spps 25.0 program, yielding descriptive results with tables and graphs, inferential statistics will also be obtained, where the normality test will be performed to define if the data are parametric or non-parametric, with which to choose the most appropriate test to test the study hypotheses and thus obtain the conclusions of the case.
