Ítem Acceso abierto Psychosocial risk factors and mobbing in the healthcare staff of a health center in the Rimac district, Lima, 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-10-28) Rojas Talavera, Reyna Giannina; Urbano Katayama, Víctor ManuelThe research aimed to understand the relationship between psychosocial risk factors and mobbing in the healthcare staff at a health center in the Rímac district, Lima, 2021. It followed a quantitative approach, applied research with an experimental design and a single measurement, and a correlational scope. A sample of 213 people working at the center was evaluated using the CoPsoQistas21 and the LIPT-60. The results indicated that all psychosocial risk factors were significantly correlated (p < .05), directly (rho > 0), with the strongest association in the dimension "Control over work," which had a large effect size (rho > .5); the second strongest association was found in "Social support and quality of leadership," with a medium effect size (.3 < rho < .5); in all other cases, the effect size was small (.1 < rho < .3). It was concluded that healthcare staff who lack autonomy in their work and feel constantly evaluated and judged are more likely to be victims of workplace bullying. Similarly, those who do not receive support from their supervisors or colleagues in matters such as consultations or feedback also show greater tendencies toward bullying.
