Ítem Acceso abierto Work stressors and nursing care competencies in critical areas of a national hospital in Lima – 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-12-02) Rojas Ullilen, Yurmin; Fernández Rengifo, Werther FernandoMethodology: Deductive study, quantitative approach, applied, non-experimental design, cross-sectional descriptive, correlational; in which 80 nurses from the critical area of a hospital in Lima participated; To collect data, the survey and two questionnaires were used as a technique. The first instrument, statistically validated with Cronbach's Alpha of 0.953, allowed us to measure work stressors and with the second instrument validated with Cronbach's Alpha of 0.973, it allowed us to measure the competencies of the Nursing care, Spearman's Rho statistical test was also used for inferential analysis. Results: The result is that 63.56% of the professionals consider that there are moderately stressful factors and that the nursing staff is 50.22% competent in the care of critically ill patients.
