The present investigation will demonstrate the influence that exists between the sociocultural factors that postpartum mothers have as a determining component on the level of knowledge they acquire about neonatal jaundice, promoting the implementation of teaching-learning strategies considering the important role they play. them in the care of the newborn. OBJECTIVE: To determine the relationship that exists between sociocultural factors and knowledge about neonatal jaundice in postpartum mothers. METHODS: The present study will be based on the application of the hypothetical deductive method, with a quantitative correlational approach. For which a representative sample made up of 185 postpartum women will be taken into account, taking into account certain inclusion criteria. Likewise, this study has the advantage of using validated and reliable instruments that have been used in previous studies.
