Ítem Acceso abierto Work overload and psychological well-being of the nursing professional of the emergency service of a national hospital, 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2023-01-08) Romero Montes, Judith; Molina Torres, Jose GregorioThe objective of this study is to determine the relationship between work overload and the psychological well-being of nursing professionals in the Emergency Department of a National Hospital in 2022. This applied research used a hypothetical-deductive method, quantitative approach, and a non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational design with a sample of 107 nurses. To measure the first variable, the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health questionnaire was used, adapted and validated by Nieto Polo (2018) with an Aiken's V test result of 97% and a Cronbach's alpha reliability of 0.885, comprising 40 items. For the second variable, Ryff's Psychological Well-Being Scale with 39 items was used, validated by Véliz (2012) with a KMO = 0.92, and in 2020, Sánchez obtained a Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient of 0.832. The collected data will be processed and analyzed using SPSS Version 25.
