    Effectiveness of safety and protection interventions to reduce workplace violence against emergency personnel.

    The 10 articles systematically reviewed were classified as follows: 50% (n=5/10) are systematic reviews, 10% (n=1/10) is a mixed-method study, and 40% (n=4/10) are cohort studies. These studies come from the following countries: United States (40%), Australia (20%), Italy (10%), Iran (10%), Brazil (10%), and the United Kingdom (10%). Results: 100% (n=10/10) indicate that safety and protection interventions are effective in reducing workplace violence towards emergency personnel. Conclusion: Safety and protection interventions are effective in reducing workplace violence towards emergency personnel.
