Ítem Acceso abierto Effective interventions in the prevention of infestation in patients with urinary cateterism(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2019-08-04) Ruelas Elias, Anny Yadira; Calsin Pacompia, WilmerObjective: To analyze the evidence on effective interventions in the prevention of infection in patients with urinary catheterization Materials and methods: the type of study was quantitative and the study design was a systematic review, the population consisted of 30 studies and the sample was 10 articles, this review was found in the following databases Medline, PubMed, Elsevier, Scielo. and BVS. where the GRADE system was used, which identifies the quality of the evidence and the recommended strength. Results: it was obtained that: the use of reminders is effective, as are standardized protocols, the bundles that are nursing interventions already established, supervision by the nurse, hand washing to reduce bacteria and the use of the antimicrobial catheter. On the other hand, the quality gaps in the documentation of the use of different urinary catheters with the results of the urine are not effective. Conclusions: 90% (n = 9/10) of the 10 articles reviewed showed that the effective interventions for the prevention of infection in patients with urinary catheterization were: the use of reminders, standardized protocols, the bundles, continuous nursing supervision, hand washing and also the use of antimicrobial catheters with silver alloy. However, 10% (n=1/10) of the reviewed articles also showed that the quality gaps in the documentation of the use of different urinary catheters are not effective with the results of the urine, since there is no concordance in both.Publicación Acceso abierto Hábitos de estudio y engagement académico en estudiantes de enfermería en una universidad privada, Lima, 2023(Universidad Norbert Wiener, 2023-11-14) Ruelas Elias, Anny Yadira; Vásquez Tomas, Melba RitaEl presente estudio buscó determinar la relación entre los hábitos de estudio y el engagement en los alumnos del primer ciclo de la escuela de enfermería en una universidad privada de Lima en el 2023; bajo el enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental, nivel correlacional y transversal, la muestra estuvo constituida por 113 estudiantes a quienes se les administraron el inventario de hábitos de estudio CASM-85 y el cuestionario de UWES-S17. Los resultados indicaron un nivel de p= 0,000 y coeficiente τ de Kendall de -0,208, concluyendo que, existe relación entre los hábitos de estudios y el engagement académico en los alumnos del primer ciclo de la escuela de enfermería, es decir, a menores niveles de hábitos de estudios mayor será los niveles de engagement académico.
