    Disability due to low back pain and the extensibility of the hamstring muscles in industrial operation workers of the Tubisa company, 2022

    80 individuals met the inclusion criteria to be part of the sample. To assess disability due to low back pain, the Oswestry Low Back Pain Disability Questionnaire was used, and to measure the extensibility of the hamstring muscles, the popliteal angle test was used. Both instruments were validated. The results show that workers with moderate functional limitation presented a hamstring extensibility of grade I shortening (23.8%), while all workers with severe functional limitation showed a hamstring extensibility of grade II shortening (3.8%). A relationship was found (p<0.05) between functional disability due to low back pain and hamstring extensibility in the sample. Conclusion: there is a statistically significant relationship between disability due to low back pain and hamstring extensibility in industrial operation workers at Tubis company.
