Between 20 and 50 million people suffer non-fatal trauma, many of which result in disability. Various factors, such as globalization, high competition, and unfavorable conditions at work, have generated cases of polytrauma whose level of severity can lead to multiple organ failure. Objective: Determine the relationship that exists between the level of knowledge and the practice of managing polytraumatized patients that the emergency nurses of the Chilca Mala health center carry out in 2022. Method: To carry out this study, it will be developed based on the hypothetical deductive method with quantitative approach, without intervention which corresponds to a non-experimental study work with correlational design. The population is made up of 20 Nursing professionals from the emergency service, the instrument being a questionnaire of questions, where the level of knowledge with its dimensions will be evaluated. Statistical: a SPSS version 25 program will be used, and Cronbach's Alpha will be used to measure reliability.
