Publicación Acceso abierto Factores asociados a la adherencia al tratamiento farmacológico en pacientes con psoriasis atendidos en la farmacia “DERMA-A” en el distrito de Jesús María – 2022(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-10-07) Sánchez Chuquilin, Alicia Clementina; Ventura Valdera, Flor Doraliza; Collantes Llacza, Adela MarleneObjective: The purpose of this research study is to determine how the factors involved in pharmacological treatment are related to adherence in patients with psoriasis treated at the “DERMA A” pharmacy in the district of Jesús María, Lima, 2021. Methodology: Following the hypothetical-deductive research method, with a quantitative approach, applied type, and non-experimental design, a sample of 180 psoriasis patients treated at the “DERMA A” pharmacy were selected. Instruments were applied to measure the factors associated with pharmacological treatment using a self-adapted questionnaire, and adherence levels to the treatment using the 8-item Morisky-Green-Levine Test. Results: A significant inverse relationship was found between the factors involved in pharmacological treatment and adherence in psoriasis patients (p=0.000; r=-0.581). Conclusion: It was concluded that the lower the presence of extrinsic factors involved in pharmacological treatment, the higher the level of adherence; whereas, the higher the presence of intrinsic patient factors, the higher their level of adherence to psoriasis treatment.
