Publicación Acceso abierto Cumplimiento de buenas prácticas de prescripción en el Centro de Salud Su Santidad Juan Pablo II – San Juan de Lurigancho. 2021(Universidad Privada Norbert Wiener, 2022-06-10) Saavedra Pumacayo, Teresa Ester; Timo Nina, Ivan Teodoro; Aquino Comun, MeryThe objective of this research was to determine compliance with Good Prescribing Practices (GPP) at the Su Santidad Juan Pablo II Health Center in San Juan de Lurigancho in 2021. The methodology was basic, with a descriptive, cross-sectional level, a deductive method, and a non-experimental design. The total population was 6,686 prescriptions, from which 1,329 medical prescriptions from January to June 2021 were reviewed. A checklist and the guidelines from the Peruvian Ministry of Health's GPP Manual were used. Results: Of the 1,329 prescriptions, 81.9% did not simultaneously contain patient data, 82.2% failed to simultaneously register medication data, 599 (45.1%) did not comply with legibility, and 947 (71.3%) did not comply with the overall prescription data. Conclusions: The study determined the simultaneous non-compliance of all 1,329 prescriptions evaluated at the Health Center, reflecting a problem that must be improved from the beginning of the prescribing process to prevent future errors that could risk patient health.
