    Nutritional factors related to obesity and physical activity in schoolchildren of the secondary level of the I.E. December 9, Coracora, Ayacucho, April 2022

    Methodology: Analytical study with a mixed approach, basic study type, non-experimental, prospective, and cross-sectional design. A survey conducted by the author was applied, validated by expert judgment, regarding nutritional factors related to obesity and physical activity. Anthropometric measurements, such as weight and height, were also taken to diagnose Body Mass Index (BMI) in 227 secondary school students from I.E. 9 de diciembre, Coracora, Ayacucho. Results: In the BMI diagnosis, only 12.33% had overweight and 1.32% obesity. 59.91% had family history of obesity, 96.48% were exclusively breastfed during the first 6 months, 79.30% started solid food at six months, 72.25% consume fruits, and 81.06% consume vegetables. 77.09% eat fast food, 44.49% eat sweets, and 65.64% engage in physical activity at least once a week.
