    The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between personality traits and psychological affectation in victims of family violence in the Legal Medicine Unit II Ucayali, 2023. The methodology used by means of a hypothetical deductive method, with a quantitative approach, of applied type, non-experimental design, descriptive. The study sample consisted of 108 participants who were victims of family violence, and two self-developed questionnaires were applied to data collection. The results specified that Spearman's Rho score was .995, with a bilateral significance of 0.000 with a value < 0.05, which indicates a very high level of positive correlation. Concluding, that there is a significant relationship between personality traits and psychological affectation, that is, it increases personality traits and therefore increases the psychological affectation in victims of family violence in the Forensic Medicine Unit.
